Since 2001, the United States of America emphasizing on fighting against terrorism, confronting drug cultivation and state-building in Afghanistan following its occupation.
The purpose of this article is to analyze the consequences of The US military strike on Afghanistan in 2001, considering two phenomena of drug trafficking and strengthen of terrorism. Using an analytical-descriptive method, this paper firstly, analyze the features of the US militarism considering its international position and study the history of its military presence in Afghanistan during two periods, before and after September 11. Then, the impacts of the US invasion of Afghanistan on the drug trafficking and terrorism in latter country and the consequences of these two phenomena on the political, economic and social situation in Afghanistan. The results of this research shows that how America's intervention has led to spread the drug trafficking and terrorism through perpetuating and eroding the war in Afghanistan. In fact, the main purpose of the US perpetual presence in this important region is the continuity of its illegitimate intervention and hegemony in this important region.
